Hi! I wanted to give you an update since we last visited.
My foster mom says I'm very playful and likes my happy go lucky type of personality. She thinks I'm always in a good mood and you know what? I am! Why shouldn't I be, I'm in a warm loving foster home and not in a shelter anymore. That would make anyone happy.
I know sit and come (come sometimes selectively). She says I'm beautiful and I look very healthy. I enjoy being around my foster mom so I just come over and sit. When she's standing there I'll just sit perfectly right at her feet, or out in the yard after running around, I like to stop and just sit in the middle of the yard and look around. She doesn't know it, but I'm actually counting my blessing and secretly pinching myself that this isn't a dream.
At times, I get excited and jumps up, but I easily calm down. Right now, I like all the attention and being petted, but once I know I won't go back to the shelter, I'll be better. I like other dogs and playing with Sally keeps me busy. When I get in a play mindset, foster mom thinks I play too rough, but it's all in fun. I haven't been around cats yet, so can't tell you how that will go, just yet.
Well, enough about me for now. I'd really like to know more about you. Want to meet in person? Just call Illinois Birddog Rescue and let's make a play date. Okay?

Tia
I may have just gotten into my foster home, but it sure feels like home. This seems so familiar. Like I've done this before, but I don't remember where or when. I do know it's better than the shelter I was in and the hard floor I had to sleep on.
